On the 20th of September, the city of Cork came alive with colour and energy during the celebration of the Culture Night, an annual event aimed at promoting the cultural and artistic diversity of Ireland and the world. The 2024 edition was no exception, and some of the students from Ireland Experience had the opportunity to actively participate in this event.
Among the many activities organised across the city, the students enjoyed an enriching day. The female students from Ireland Experience took part in a workshop where they could enjoy the music, customs, and history of Ukraine. There is always an opportunity to practise English while discovering new perspectives on the world, in a fun and relaxed environment.
In addition, the group was lucky to meet a group of traditional Bolivian musicians. The students took advantage of this opportunity not only to enjoy the rhythm of South American music but also to learn more about Bolivia’s rich culture, folklore, and traditions.
Culture Night is an annual event across Ireland that allows locals and foreigners to explore the cultural richness of different communities. It is a perfect occasion for Ireland Experience students to practise English in a relaxed and multicultural environment, while fully integrating into Cork’s vibrant community. Without a doubt, an experience that will stay with them for years to come.
