Flavia, one of our students at Ireland Experience, is having an incredible time studying in Cork. Besides improving her English, she has found a place in the Brunell Ladies Club, a local basketball team where she can show her passion for the sport.
On September 29th, Flavia and her team participated in the Tralee Magic Girls Invitational Tournament, held at the Kerry Sports Academy in Tralee. It was a thrilling day, featuring teams from all over Ireland, such as Tralee Magic, Glanmire, Mallow, and others. Flavia’s team, Brunell, stood out during the tournament and reached the silver final, securing a well-deserved second place. A great achievement that she will surely cherish as part of her memories in Ireland!
The event, which featured exciting matches from 10 AM onwards, concluded with Brunell facing strong rivals such as the Killarney Cougars and St. Mary’s. Congratulations to Flavia and her teammates for this accomplishment!
