This April, we welcome a new Erasmus+ student to Cork, coming from the Colegio Salesianos San Luis Rey in Palma del Río, Córdoba. Unlike other students, he will be undertaking his internship in the administrative sector, working with a locally renowned company known for its dynamism and efficiency.
Hosted by a host family associated with our language programmes, this young individual is not only facing the challenge of adapting to a new work environment but also immersing himself in a thorough cultural and linguistic bath. Administrative internships in an international context like this not only strengthen the student’s resume but also sharpen his English language and communication skills.
The Erasmus+ programme provides an excellent platform for young people to develop essential professional skills and gain invaluable experience that will greatly assist in their future careers. Moreover, this experience is a window into rich Irish culture, offering a unique opportunity to interact with other international and local students and immerse in the daily life of Cork.
