Hello once again everyone ! During all this time, I have been telling you perks, characteristics and issues about Ireland, so that you know how interesting this country is as an ideal place to learn English both for us, as students, and for our children, as they minors, university or post-graduate students.
Today, I want to show you a little more, a little more about myself and our experience. Today I want to show you the school where my daughter studies.
We live in Cork, as you well know, one of the most charming places on the Emerald Isle, but also in this city are some of the most recognised schools for their level of education.
The school where my daughter studies is the Christ King Secondary School.
It is a charter school, as we discussed in previous posts, and is one of the best schools in Ireland in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). On their website (you can find out here), you can find out everything from the curriculum of each of the teachers, all their curricular offers, to the activities of parents and students. I recommend that you visit their “News” section (here). They even competed recently in Lego Robotics competitions!
As you can see in the video, the diversity of activities, both physical and academic, is remarkable, and give their students the tools to add to their own sets of values, autonomy and sportsmanship applicable to all aspects of life, this is a benchmark and key point for the future application of knowledge received.
Our experience is fantastic. The integration is complete and the involvement of the institution and the students is fantastic.
For this reason, I decided to start the Ireland Experience project: In order to facilitate access to this type of education for the largest number of families. In many cases, the option of studying abroad is an unknown option, it scares us or we think that it is not possible. But with the necessary information, and the appropriate advice, everything is much clearer, opening a field of incredible opportunities for our children.
We are in the registration period for the next course and semester (Click here for more information), Summer courses (More info here), and all related activities. If you decide to take the step, do it with good personal and professional support and with trust and faith. If you want, from Ireland Experience, we manage everything for you.
Until our next post!
