Four students from “Camilo José Cela” Secondary School in Campillos, Málaga, will do professional internships in Cork as part of the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union. They are staying with some of the Host Families working in Ireland Experience language programmes.
Erasmus Plus is an exciting opportunity for students pursuing vocational training courses such as the Technical Degree in Agricultural and Livestock Production they are in. This programme offers students the chance to undertake internships or work placements in European countries, enabling them to gain international experience and valuable skills that will be beneficial for their future career prospects.
Through Erasmus +, students can develop their professional abilities by immersing themselves in different cultures, languages, and work practices. Not only will they improve their language skills, but they will also gain valuable professional experience in the equine industry, in areas such as horse husbandry. Employers often look for candidates with international experience and language skills, and Erasmus + offers both of these.
One particular highlight for the students was the recent celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. The Spanish students, together with their host families, enjoyed the festivities, which included a parade, music, and dancing. This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to immerse themselves in Irish culture, practise their language skills, and socialise with other international students.
At Ireland Experience we offer our students a total immersion in the culture, history and customs of Ireland, and especially of Cork, a wonderful city. Contact us and join this great family.
