Four new students from IES Camilo José Cela, based in Campillos, Málaga, have recently arrived in Cork as part of the prestigious Erasmus+ programme by the European Union. The planned activities and overall experience promise to be really enriching. During their time in Ireland, they will stay with host families who collaborate with Ireland Experience, ensuring a warm environment and facilitating their linguistic immersion.
These students are pursuing a qualification as Technicians in Livestock Production, and their stay in Cork will allow them to undertake professional internships in equestrian-related businesses. Such activities provide not only specific technical skills but also a competitive edge in the job market by adding international experience to their CVs.
In addition to their professional development, the participants will have the chance to improve their English while immersing themselves in Irish culture. By integrating into a multicultural setting, they will gain key competencies such as adaptability and intercultural communication, which are crucial in today’s globalised job market.
One of the highlights of their stay will be participating in local cultural events and festivals that showcase Cork’s traditions. These experiences will allow the students to fully enjoy Ireland’s rich heritage while strengthening the knowledge acquired during their training programmes.
We are thrilled to welcome these new students and wish them a rewarding learning journey and an unforgettable stay. At Ireland Experience we offer our students a total immersion in the culture, history and customs of Ireland, and especially of Cork, a wonderful city. Contact us and join this great family.
