Technical Degree in Agricultural and Livestock Production

Blog

Four students from the Technical Degree in Agricultural and Livestock Production at “Camilo José Cela” Secondary School in Campillos, Málaga (Spain) are engaged in professional internships in Cork as part of the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme. Over the next three months, they will have the opportunity to train and work at two exceptional locations: an equestrian centre and a historic castle with livestock facilities.

The Erasmus+ Programme offers a unique opportunity for students pursuing vocational training. It allows them to undertake work placements in European countries, gaining international experience and valuable skills that will greatly benefit their future careers.

Through Erasmus+, these young individuals will enhance their professional skills by immersing themselves in different cultures, languages, and work practices. They will not only improve their English but also gain invaluable professional experience in the equine and livestock industry, including horse husbandry and animal care within a castle environment.

Host families, collaborating with our agency, play a crucial role by providing a welcoming and supportive environment for these students. This stay is not only a fantastic opportunity for the students to immerse themselves in Irish culture and practice the language, but also to socialize with other international and local students, enriching their educational and personal experience. The Erasmus+ experience transforms students’ lives and prepares them for a prosperous future in the agricultural field.

At Ireland Experience we offer our students a total immersion in the culture, history and customs of Ireland, and especially of Cork, a wonderful city. Contact us and join this great family.
